How thick is the paper? Will gel pens bleed through?
The interior pages are printed on heavy 120 gsm (80 lb.) smooth vintage-cream paper—about 50% thicker than the 70–80 gsm paper in standard big-box planners. Gel pens, ballpoints, fineliners, and mild highlighters write cleanly without ghosting onto the reverse side.
Are the weekly spreads horizontal or vertical?
Vertical! Each two-page weekly spread features 7 full-height vertical columns from Monday through Sunday, giving Saturday and Sunday the exact same column width as Monday through Friday.
Why do the black border lines on the weekly columns have small gaps?
The column borders and gothic illustrations are hand-drawn in a vintage dip-pen ink style, where line weight naturally tapers and breaks like an antique grimoire etching. It is an intentional part of the illustration artwork, not a printing defect.
